Condiments provide outsized value for the space they take in the fridge. At home we use them to elevate a frozen pizza, rectify an uninspired plate of pasta, adorn platters of grilled whatever-is-in-the-fridge for dinner, and, of course, turn a simple fried egg over rice into a lunch to look forward to.

These are the condiments in our fridge right now: Heinz ketchup, mayonnaise, miso, many jars of mustard, rose harissa, chili crisp, pickled chiles …XO sauce?
